Weekend 1: overview
Friday 4th of February
In the morning, we welcomed two experts on climate change and biodiversity loss, who brought us all to speed about these two global issues that humankind is facing.
In the afternoon, we visited some local and sustainable projects in order to find inspiration for our own future projects. We learned about La Grande Maison in Malmedy (education, creativity and social inclusion), about Terrenhof in Sankt Vith (biodynamic farming), about the black groose project and the history of the High Fens, as well as about the cooperative Courant d’Air (green energy).
Saturday 5th of February
Let’s get to work with the workshops, facilitated by Pauline Lemaire (Paulinisatrice) and Frauke Scheller (Colibera) !
The goals: learning hwo to communicate effeciently with each other, setting up a communication security framework for the weekend … and letting the first project ideas flow!
Sunday 6th of February
Going on with the workshops and facing the biggest challenge of this first weekend: moving towards a concrete project and prioritizing our tasks !
